His recommendations for leaders to kick-start their motivation and creativity (and thereby get their people going as well), are:
- Give yourself an honest appraisal of where you are - a good self-assessment tool will help you with this
- Get reading again
- Get some training and some coaching
- Network with peer groups
- Get 360 Degree Feedback to help you understand how those who work with you assess your strengths and weaknesses
To this list I would add:
