After coming across this article, A Process to Build High-Performance Teams, by David Thiel recently, I couldn’t help but notice that he had some fantastic ideas.
The area I was most interested in was his ‘Five Stepping Stones in the Path to Team Development’, as this, after all, is Track’s primary focus. Three of these really stuck out for me:
At Track Surveys we have also identified these areas as critical in establishing a powerful team, and as such we have developed tools to provide highly efficient solutions to these problem areas. Our Empower 360 TeamWorks , for example, can be used to ensure both the individual and the team are working as efficiently as possible. The Team can identify for itself, through a process of Self-review and 360 Degree Feedback, areas where they are strong, and also where the team has weaknesses. The Team can then sit down together with their Empower 360 Team report and plan how they will work together to ignite performance and engagement.
By implementing David Thiel’s ‘Five Stepping Stones’, and using our Empower 360 TeamWorks tool, you can cross the waters and hopefully start to recognise some of his ‘Characteristics of High Performance Teams’ within your own workplace.
